Good lord. How did this happen? My summer is officially over as of tomorrow. You see, as a teacher, I get to be off when the kiddies are off - usually. Actually, it's a wonderful thing and I love having about 10 weeks of rejuvenation time... believe me, we teachers need it. Those of you who are teachers will know exactly what I mean. Teaching is a rewarding "job" but it's also exacting and stressful.
Tomorrow I meet with two members of my team and Thursday is our district's first in-service. I also have a floating day that I'll need to put in either Tuesday or Wednesday. Time to get ready to jump in with both feet and hit the ground running!
